First Day of Preschool

Today was the first day of Preschool for Reagan. She was so excited last night, that she actually went right to bed, not even fighting me. She knew that when she woke up she was going to get to go to school. We went to Target yesterday to pick out a new backpack that would actually fit the folder in it that her teacher gave her. Reagan picked out a plain purple backpack and then had me write her name on it in Silver. This morning Reagan told me she wanted her hair in two ponytails, she really wanted to look her best! Overall her first day went very good, and she is excited to go back, she just doesn't want to wait until Thursday!

What can you do with $35 during City Wide Garage Sales?

So I allowed myself $40 to spend at city wide garage sales last week. I ended up spending $35 and I think I got some great deals!

Here are the clothes I found for Reagan: A Gap sweater, Pink long sleeved shirt, star t-shirt, white Old Navy Sweatshirt, Green Gap dress, Green pants, and 2 pairs of jeans.

For myself I found a gray Polo sweater (to wear after baby comes), a white maternity shirt, and a purple maternity shirt.

For Nora I got: 2 pairs of pink pants, 2 hats, purple gap sweatshirt, polo striped onsie, gap star dress, flower dress, purple one piece outfit, pink one piece outfit, and owl one piece outfit.

And of course, here are the toys Reagan found. We know that she is indeed Louis's child for wanting to buy an ironing board and iron! She also got a high chair for her baby and some ball game that she seems to be really enjoying.

Garage Sale Finds

The garage sale finds of the weekend were some cards. I paid $1 for all of them. Reagan has already been enjoying them.

Halloween in August went over well with all the kids. It turned out to be a perfect evening, not to hot or cold. Aspen, Jack, and Reagan took part in the parade and then got to go Trick-or-Treating. Reagan ended up getting way too much candy, guess I will have to help her eat it! After the festivities we sat around the campfire.

It's Not Goodbye It's See You Later

So I already know that Deployment Sucks!! Reagan and I are holding up pretty well. I think it is not really real to me yet since you have been gone so much the past few months. Getting back into our routine is my goal! It was nice to work a couple of hours this morning to stop my mind from thinking about what is actually happening. Reagan went to the doctor, and hopefully she will be feeling better soon. She actually fell asleep at 6:00 tonight! I think we have just been so busy the last few days that she is exhausted. Well I am going to clean the kitchen. We love you Louis :)

Our family pictures turned out awesome. I am so glad I bit the bullet and decided to spend the money on these. I know I will be able to look at the pictures while Louis is deployed and remember the great time Reagan had taking them.
